Top Navigation and Maps Apps Performance in Estonia, Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, Estonia saw varied performance among the top navigation and maps applications, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic, developed by Waze Inc., showed a gradual decline in weekly downloads. Starting with approximately 1.6K downloads at the beginning of July, the numbers decreased steadily to around 1K by the end of September.

Google Maps maintained a relatively stable download rate, beginning the quarter with about 710 downloads per week and ending with approximately 490 downloads. Despite the slight decline, the app remained a popular choice for users in Estonia.

Yandex Maps & Navigator experienced a minor dip in downloads, starting the quarter with 257 and dropping to 111 by the end of September. Revenue for this app was low, peaking at $12 at the start of the quarter.

NaviCup reported fluctuating download numbers, with an initial spike to 429 downloads in early July, followed by a peak of 609 downloads in late August. This local app showed resilience and adaptability in its market.

Lastly, Google Earth maintained consistent download figures throughout the quarter, with numbers ranging from 229 to 246 downloads weekly.
